Mobile You...
If there's anyone out there considering purchasing Apple's Mobil Me, there are a few things to consider before making the switch...
Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts DON'T work seamlessly with any device OTHER than the iPhone. There are solutions out there that enable you to have the same information in all places (I use the Blackberry), but none that allow a completely mobile experience.
You can't send mail "From" accounts that don't have a .mac, or .me domain . If you have a business e-mail address, this kind of sucks. I'm not sure WHY apple's service is the ONLY major service out there that won't allow this, but I'm sure they'd attract far more consumers if they did.

Let's go on a Safari
Apple's new Safari 4 has struck big nerves across the world... ahem. Actually, I was listening to one of my favorite Podcasts last week and to my dismay, I heard some of my favorite podcasters bashing the new Safari.
A couple of thoughts about it.
I really LIKE the new UI for Safari - Windows edition. Apple decided to use the OS's UI components (for Windows), and not ones they've written for Windows. The end result is a browser for Windows that's beautiful.

Live and let Live
With the new Windows Live services, I think Microsoft is taking it's first step in the right direction. I've prolonged moving my workflow to them due to the fact the Calender applications weren't ready; now it's a different story.
I've switched to Live services for everything I do and I must say, I'm pleased. Windows Live fills in the gaps other online services have (believe me, I've tried them all). The online UI is absolutely beautiful, and the desktop applications are just as elegant. Functionally there are very minor drawbacks you miss when working with the Live services, but I'm sure those gaps will be filled over time. The pro's definitely out-weigh the con's with the new Live services.
